At 15 H, Muslims Army conquer City
Of Jerusalem, Palestine from Byzantine Empire. Caliph Umar Ibn Khattab came to
Jerusalem and he build Masjid Al-Aqsa. Byzantine Army at Jerusalem submit to
Muslims Army. At 23 H, City Of Ashkelon,
Palestine, conquered peaceful. After Muslims Army conquer all territories of
levant ( included Palestine and Syria), they went to Egypt for conquer it from
Byzantine Empire. At Egypt, many Coptics ( Qibthi at Arabian Language)Christians.
They get oppresed from Byzantine Empire.
Rasulullah Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam
was said, if you success liberate Egypt, treat good to Qibthi ( Coptics) because here guarantee and
hospitality for you. According Islamic Research Team Of Egypt, it is
because Hagar, Mother From Propeth Ismail Alaihissalam is Egyptians From
Coptics.
At 639 AD, Muslims Commander Amr Ibn
Ash arrive at Egypt. Coptics Patriarch ,
Benjamin ask helped to Amr to attack Byzantine Empire at Egypt. Muslims Army
attack Byzantine Army at City Of Bilbays and they managed captured City Of
Bilbays. Amr also defeat Byzantine Army
at City Of Ummu Dunain. According notes from John Of Niceu, Amr Ibn Ash also conquer
City Of Fayyum after defeat Byzantine s Commander, John, who bring 50 warriors.
Amr also besieged City Of Babylon (
different with Babylonia at Iraq) at 640 AD and Byzantine Garrisons at Babylon numbered
5000-6000 Warriors. Muslims Army besieged City Of Babylon for one years, until
641 AD, Byzantine Emperor, Heraclius, die and it is became factor Byzantine Army submit to Muslims
Army.
After conquer City Of Babylon, Amr
tried conquer City Of Alexandria. Amr faced Byzantine Army under Theodore and
Muslims Army can defeat Byzantine Army. With this victory, Egypt became Muslim Territories.
And, it is survive until today.
Under Muslim Reign, Egypt became one
of knowledge center. Under Fathimid
Dynasty that ruled Egypt from 969 -1171
AD, established Al Azhar University At
Egypt, who became one of Muslims Knowledge Center until today. It is proof, Muslim
Conquest is not same with colonization that do by European States at 16-18 TH
Century. And, story about Conquest Of Egypt is proof, Muslims , must be bless
for all world, included with people who
differents at religion, tribes, and nations.
