Ibn Fadhlan: 13 TH Warrior.

Today, we will discuss about one Muslim Traveler who travel to Norwegia and meet the Vikings at this age. He is Ibn Fadhlan adn he life at Abbasid Dynasty Era, exactly at 10 TH Century, ok, please read this article until end for get complete information about this and subscribe my blog for more information about Islamic History. Ibn Fadhlan, or have full name Ahmad Ibn Fadhlan, is one Muslim Traveler at 10 TH Century.  Originally, at his past, he is slave from Muhammad Ibn Sulayman. He is preach ambassador from Abbasid Dynasty. At 921 AD,  Abbasid Caliph, Al-Muqtadir Billah, send him to King Of Bulgar, Almash Ibn Yatur for preach this king to Islam. At this event, Ibn Fadhlan talk to King Almash Ibn Yatur about how Islam preach at many part of the world.  At this time, Ibn Fadhlan s age is 13 years old. Almash Ibn Yatur, held alliance with Abbasid Caliphate, because his kingdom  threatened by Kingdom Of Khazar, Jewish Kingdom at Europe, and Kingdom Of Khazar, colonized Kingdom Of Bulgar. According Historian Philip.K.Hitti, at this time, Kingdom Of Bulgar located at Volga.

Ibn Fadhlan, popular with his journey to Europe s lands, included Russia, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Islandia until he meet with Tribe Of Vikings. Ibn Fadhlan, spend his time for preach Islam to Vikings and Russians. According Ibn Fadhlan s memoir, Risalah  Ibnu Fadhlan, at this time, Vikings at Norway still became backward community who disgusted and dont know about cleanship. Ibn Fadhlan, at Norway write that Nation Of Vikings, dont know about cleanship and they usually  spit at water and use this water for was their face.  Ibn Fadhlan also write Vikings, at Norway, also dont know about medicine. They leave sickmen beetwen them at tents that far from their village and  permit wild animal eat their sickmen. 

When Ibn Fadhlan want back to Bagdad, happened incident at Vikings Society.  Broke clash beetwen Boulif and Torchel to became Chief Of Vikings.  Torchel ask helped to Ibn Fadhlan, Ibn Fadhlan want back to Bagdad, but his translatter, advise him to stay because he must  uncover who Torchel, who really is thief.  Torchel, executed by die execution. One Viking Civilians from Sweden, Boulif s land, tell Boulif that at Sweden happened big clash and Boulif must save his land. Boulif consultate with one wizard and this wizard advise Boulif to make a army that contained 13 warriors, one of them must dont came from Viking Lands. And, Boulif choose Ibn Fadhlan as 13 TH Warrior.

Memoir Of Ibn Fadhlan, that cited by Palestinian Historian Jihad Turbani, dont mentioned completely about Ibn Fadhlan s adventure. Jihad Turbani only  mentioned, after this, Ibn Fadhlan next his expedition but he advise to read Book Of Ibn Fadhlan, Risalah Ibn Fadhlan  for know more detailed from Ibn Fadhlan s adventure. 

Not  known more about Ibn Fadhlan s private s biography because at his memoir, he dont show his self as prime topic, but his memoir, originally is report to Abbasid Caliphate about Ibn Fadhlan s duty to preach Islam under Abbasid Caliphate Order. Ibn Fadhlan s story became inspiration of 13 TH Warrior Movie.
