Story Of Propeth Ismail Alaihissalam: Ancestor From Modern Arab.

Today, we will discuss about Propeth Ismail Alaihissalam , Ancestor from Modern Arab and also ancestor from Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam. He is important figure at Islam, Christian, and Judaism. In Islam, he considered as Propeth Muhammd Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam s ancestor and propeth who bring monotheism ( religion that only believe to 1god ) to Arabians at Hijaz. Propeth Ismail Alaihissalam is son from Propeth Ibrahim Alaihissalam. He is son from Propeth Ibrahim Alaihissalam s wife, Hagar.  When Ismail born, first Propeth Ibrahim Alaihissalam , Sarah, jealous to Hagar and Propeth Ibrahim bring Hagar and Propeth Ismail Alaihissalam, who at this event, still baby to desert that became Mecca at future. According Book Of Genesis, that cited by Historian Martin Lings, Sarah jealous because her relation with Hagar is not good and Propeth Ibrahim Alaihissalam bring Hagar and Propeth Ismail Alaihissalam to Desert Of Bakkah ( now Mecca).  Propeth Ismail life beetwen 1911-1779 BC and he spend his childhood at Bakkah.  One day, Ismail cry about thirsty, because not enough water at Desert Of Bakkah. Hagar tried to find water at Mount Of Shafa and Marwa. He run for 7 times. And, after this time, out water from location that named by Zamzam and Hagar collect his water for his child, Ismail. It is called by Well Of Zamzam at Mecca, Saudi Arabia. According Islamic Tradition, Hagar s verb became origin from one part of Hajj/Umrah Worship.

According Ibn Abbas, Companion from Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam, Propeth Ismail grown up at Bakkah/Mecca and Tribes Of Jurhum, One Arabian Tribes came to Bakkah and stay at this place. Propeth Ismail Alaihissalam married Arabian Woman from Tribes Of Jurhum.  Propeth Ismail Alaihissalam also learn Arabic from Tribes Of Jurhum.

Propeth Ismail Alaihissalam ever get weight exam from Allah Subhanahuwataala. His father, Propeth Ibrahim Alaihissalam get command from Allah Subhanahuwatala  for sacrifice Propeth Ismail Alaihissalam by dream that send by Allah Subhanahuwataala. Propeth Ibrahim Alaihissalam and Propeth Ismail Alaihissalam run this exam patiently until Allah Subhanahuwatala replace Propeth Ismail Alaihissalam with big goat. This story recorded at Koran ( Islamic Holy Book): Surah As-Shaffat: Verses 102-105.

﴿١٠٢﴾ فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ مَعَهُ السَّعْيَ قَالَ يَا بُنَيَّ إِنِّي أَرَىٰ فِي الْمَنَامِ أَنِّي أَذْبَحُكَ فَانْظُرْ مَاذَا تَرَىٰ ۚ قَالَ يَا أَبَتِافْعَلْ مَا تُؤْمَرُ ۖ سَتَجِدُنِي إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ مِنَ الصَّابِرِينَ﴿١٠٣﴾ فَلَمَّا أَسْلَمَا وَتَلَّهُ لِلْجَبِينِ﴿١٠٤﴾ وَنَادَيْنَاهُ أَنْ يَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ﴿١٠٥﴾ قَدْ صَدَّقْتَ الرُّؤْيَا ۚ إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ

“Then, when he became old enough to work with him, he said, “O My son, I see in a dream that I am slaughtering you; so see what you think.” He said, “O my father, do as you are commanded; you will find me, Allah willing, patient.” Then, when they submitted, and he put his forehead down, We called to him, “O Ibrahim!, You have fulfilled the vision.” Thus We reward the doers of good.

Muslim Historian Ibn Kathir write, when Propeth Ibrahim  Alaihissalam want  slaughter Propeth Ismail Alaihissalam with knife, the knife not injure Propeth Ismail Alaihissalam and Allah Subhanahuwatala give big goat for sacrifice to Propeth Ibrahim Alaihissalam. And , it is origin from one Islamic Ceremony, Eid Al-Adha.

Propeth Ibrahim Alaihissalam and Propeth Ismail Alaihissalam also build Kabah, Islamic Holy House at Mecca that visited by Muslims every Hajj and Umrah Ritual. Several times after this, Propeth Ibrahim Alaihissalam die and Propeth Ismail Alaihissalam with his brother from Sarah, Propeth Ishaq Alaihissalam burried their father at Hebron, Palestine.

Propeth Ismail Alaihissalam has descedant several tribes at Arabia. Included Tribes Of Agarene at North Arabia and Tribes Of Quraish at Hijaz. Tribes Of Quraish, became origin from Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
