Abdul Hamid Ibn Badis: Hero Without Weapon.

Usually, we discuss about warhero who conquer several lands for Islamic Preaching. But, today, i will discuss about hero without weapon who liberate Algeria from France Colonization. He is Imam Abdul Hamid Ibn Badis, who live when Algeria colonized by France. Ok, lets read this article until end, and subscribe my blog for more information about Islamic History. Since 1848 AD, French occupied Algeria.  After resistension from Arabic People under Amir Abdul Qadir who defeated by French Army beetwen 1830-1840 AD.  Algeria burned by French.  And, at 1865 AD, France s senator  give command to Muslims at Algeria  for leave Islamic Sharia and Murtad ( convert from Islam to other religion).

French Goverment also command to Algerian Muslims to leave status as Algerian and Muslim, and became French Civilians.  Algerian Muslims, treat extinct. At this era, born Islamic Hero, who succeded push Indepedence Of Algeria,  He is Imam Abdul Hamid Ibn Badis.

Since his childood, Ibn Badis get Islamic Education from his father and his mother. Ibn Badis grown up as Koran Memorizer and he consistent do  Rasulullah Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam s sunnah.

When he grown up, Ibn Badis studied of University Of Zaitunah and one day, he go to Mecca for Hajj. At Mecca, he meet with Shaykh Husain Al-Hindi, an Indian Scholar. Shaykh Husain advice to Ibn Badis for back to Algeria and educated people at Algeria  for back to Islam Religion. Because, since France Colonization,  Islam Religion  fade from Algerian People.

Imam Ibn Badis back to Algeria. He became Arabic Teacher at Algeria,  and he founded schools and mass medias to preach people of Algeria. At 1931 AD, Ibn Badis founded Islamic Organisation, named Jumuiyyah Al-Ulama Al Muslimin ( Islamic Scholars Organisation).

Ibn Badis faced Islamic  flow perverses, that sponsored by French. Islamic Flow Perveses at Algeria, usually pray at tomb. Ibn Badis tried  straighten it. But, he die at 51 year old. Before, Algeria achieved his indepedence.

But, Ibn Badis s students, at the future, fight for Algeria s independence,until Algeria achieved his indepedence at 1962 AD, after  more from 130 s France Colonization.

From this history, we can learn, became a hero,  dont must by weapon. We can be a warrior without weapon, but with our skills. Use your skills to give benefit for people around you- everything your job. Hero is people who  give benefit for people around them. Be a hero for people around them.
