What you remember if hear the word of India? Bolywood movie? Or other. Today, i will discuss, how Muslim entered India?Who commander that entried Islam to India? The incident beginned by Indian Pirates from Daibul that kidnapped Muslimah Womans, one of Muslimah Woman ask helped to Hajjaj Ibn Yusuf, Umayyad Governor at Iraq. It is the origin of military expedition that run from 710-712 AD. Hajjaj write a letter to King Dahir, King Of Daibul at India, who reignet at Sindhi ( at modern time part from State Of Pakistan) to commands to the pirates for liberate Muslimah Womans. But the he rejected it, Hajjaj send military expedition to Sindh, but the expedition is failed and expedition leaders are die.

Hajjaj send his young commander, Muhammad Ibn Qasim, he was still 17 years old, but he has a good leadership skill. Hajjaj send him with 6000 Syrian Army. He bring many catapult and ship, Muhammad Ibn Qasim besieged City Of Daibul with giant catapult. Muslim Warrior break through to fortress and Muslim succeded occupied City Of Daibul. Muslim Army also occupied City Of Nirun and City Of Siwistan without battle.

Muhammad next his journey to Mehran. King Dahir, with ride war elephant, out with his troops to blocking Muslim Army. Battle broke at River Of Mehran, Sindh Warriors defeated and Dahir killed. People Of Saundry came to Muhammad Ibn Qasim and they convert to Islam. Saundry occupied by Muhammad Ibn Qasim peacefully.

Important to know, why People Of India flock convert to Islam? Because the Ancient Indians divide their society to 4 groups, they are Brahmana ( Religion Monk), Ksatria ( Warrior), Waisya ( farmer and trader) and the last is Sudra. Sudra are natives negro at India. They are inferiority group at India, and their duty only do dirty job, while, Islam doesnt divide society to social class like this. When Islam entered India, Sudras flock to entered Islam because they feel get justice at Islam.

Muhammad Ibn Qasim next his expedition to Al-Kirj, at Al-Kirj, he attacked by King Dauhar, but he succeded defeat King Dauhar and occupied City Of Al-Kirj.Muhammad Ibn Qasim being Umayyad Governor at India under Caliph Walid I, under his government, Indians Hindu s people get freedom to run their religion. And their status is Dzimmi ( Non-Muslim that protected under Islamic Goverment). But, at 714 AD, Hajjaj Ibn Yusuf, his patron, die, and at 715 AD, Caliph Al-Walid I die, and replaced by Caliph Sulaiman. Caliph Sulaiman discriminated officers who at the past loyal to Hajjaj. He captured Muhammad Ibn Qasim and tortured him at the jail until die,according notes of Shaykh Al-Baladhuri, people of India cry because their die, and they make statue for him.

Muhammad Ibn Qasim die at young age and he die because the ruler that doesnt appreciated his achievment.  But, we can take wisdom from this story, people who made good charity, his name will fragmant though he was die, because it, lets we collect good charity before we die, because good charity is permanent legacy.
