Thugluq Temur Khan: Touching Story When Mongols Leader Convert To Islam.

Today, we will discuss about Thugluq Temur Khan, Mongols King at Kashgar/Uyghur who convert to Islam and his story when convert to Islam, so touching. He convert to Islam , after became Islam Hater. Chagatai Dynasty, one Mongols Dynasty who ruled Central Asia, have big hate to Islam religion. This s founder, Chagatai, son from Genghis Khan, popular as Muslim Oppresor. Chagatai, forbid his people who Muslims run Islamic Sharia, such as ablution and slaughter animal according Islamic Sharia. According Muslim Historian Ibn Khaldun at his memoir, Chagatai ruled broad territories that became basic from Islamic Culture at Central Asia such as Turkistan, Kashgar ( Uyghur), Sagun, Shash, Ferghanna, and all territories at Transoxiane.  But, Orghana, wife from Qara Hulegu, Chagatai s grandson, educated his son, Mubarak Shah according Islamic Teaching. At 1264 AD, Mubarak forward for capture Chagatai s throne. But, he defeated by his cousin, Baraq Khan who convert to Islam at 1270 AD and titled by Sultan Ghiyats Eddin. But, he dont educate his children according Islamic Teaching.  At 1326 AD, King Of Chagatai, Tarmashirin Khan, convert to Islam and many Mongols join his step convert to Islam.

Ibn Batutta, 14 TH Moroccan Traveler, who meet Tarmashirin at Central Asia, write Kingdom Of Chagatai under Tarmashirin have big army and  broad territories. But after die of Tarmashirin, Chagatai Dynasty weakened and split,  one  fractional from Kingdom Of Chagatai is Kingdom Of Kashgar that ruled Territories Of Kashgar ( East Turkistan/Uyghur). One Kashgar king is Thugluq Temur Khan ( ruled 1347-1363 AD).

One day, Thugluq Temur Khan hunting and  Persian Shaykh from Bukhara, Uzbekistan, Shaykh Jamal Addin, he is Persian Muslim Scholar,  and several Persian Traders, entered Thugluq Temur s hunting place. Thugluq angry and he ask his warriors to captured shaykh and several Persian Traders. And Thugluq said: dog better valuable from Persian. Shaykh Jama Addin said: we badder  and unvaluable from dog if you dont follow true religion! Thugluq Temur interest with Shaykh Jamal Addin s quotes. Thugluq and Shaykh Jamal Addin discuss Islam Religion. Thugluq Temur said he will convert to Islam if he succeded united Kingdom Of Chagatai that split at this time. Shaykh Jamal Addin return to Bukhara and at this place, he get seriously sick and it is became factor from his die. Thugluq Temur, can united all fractional from Kingdom Of Chagatai and re build Kingdom Of Chagatai. Shaykh Jamal Addin said to his son, Rashid Addin for recall Thugluq Temur Khan  for convert to Islam if he can united Kingdom Of Chagatai. Rashid Addin went to Thugluq s territories . And, at this time, Thugluq was succeded united all Kingdom Of Chagatai s fractional under his goverment. Rashid Addin entered Thugluq s military camp and he lound Adzan ( Muslim Prayer Call). Thugluq, who at this time, sleep, wake up and he command his guardian to bring Rashid Addin to his front. Rashiduddin deliver his father s message to recall  Tugluq Temur for convert to Islam. Thugluq said: “You right, i always remember my  promise “. After said this, Thugluq convert to Islam and Islam spread at Mongol Nations at Chagatai Territories. Central Asia, after became Mongols Territories, back became Islam Territories.
