Usamah Ibn Zayd: Youngest Commander At Era Of Rasulullah Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam.

Usamah, is one Rasulullah Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam s shahaba that became war commander at young age. Today, we will discuss how he became youngest war commander at era of Rasulullah Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam and, he also one Rashidun Caliphate Commander who open way for Rashidun Caliphate for conquer Syria, Palestine, and around this. Usamah, is son from Umm Aiman, Ethiopian Slave who became  Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam s adoptive mother when Rasulullah Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam s biological mother, Aminah, die and Umm Aiman , from his marriage with shahaba Zayd Ibn Haritha, has son named Usamah Ibn Zayd.

Usamah, peer with Rasulullah Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam s grandson, Al-Hasan Ibn Ali Ibn Abi Thalib. Hasan has white skin and similar with Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam, and Usamah , has black skin , like his mother, Umm Aiman, who is Ethiopian. But, Rasulullah Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam love Hasan and Usamah balanced. One day, he holding Hasan and Usamah together and he pray: “Oh, Allah, i love them, please love them”

One day, Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam give antique ring at Usamah. Rasulullah Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam get this ring from Hakim Ibn Hizam one Pagan at Mecca.  This ring, at past, is assets from Sayf Ibn Dhi Yadzan, King Of Yemen.

One day, at Battle Of Uhud, Usamah came to Rasulullah Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam  for get permit join the battle. But, Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam forbid him because he was too child. Usamah go home sadness. He go to home with feeling sad because he cannot join Rasulullah Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam at struggle.

At Battle Of Khandaq, when his year is 15 years old, he can join the battle with Rasulullah Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam . He also join Battle Of Muktah that broke at 629 AD, because one Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam s messenger killed by Byzantine Vassal at Bushra, Syria who originated from Kingdom Of Ghassan. Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam send 3000 warriors under Zayd Ibn Haritha, who die at this battle. Muslims Army, under new commander Khalid Ibn Walid can retreat savely, but they dont defeat Byzantine Army.

At 630 AD, Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam must fight againt Tribes Of Hawazin that want attack Medina with support from Persian Empire. Usamah join this battle, and when Muslims Army forced and almost defeated. Usamah protect Rasulullah Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam at this battle until Muslims Army can won this battle.

Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaih Wasallam , at 11 H, make a plan to attack Byzantine Empire s territories at Palestine because Byzantine Empire kill his people who convert to Islam, such as Farwa Ibn Amr, Arabian who became Byzantine Governor at Maan, Jordan. And, Rasulullah Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam appointed Usamah as commander from this army, Usamah at this event, is younger 19 years old.  Unfortunately, when Rasulullah Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam die at 632 AD, Usamah and his army delayed for went to battle.

At 82 TH Years Of Hijriyya, Caliph Abu Bakr, who  replaced Rasulullah Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam depart Usamah and his army. The target is  Territories Of Darum and Balqa Territories at Palestine that occupied by Byzantine Empire.  They can entered this territories without battle and bring many spoils from enemy.  This expedition make Byzantine Empire fear and according Historian Abdurrahman Rafat Basya,  open way for Muslims to conquer Syria, Palestine, Egypt, North Africa and Black Sea from Byzantine Empire.
