Choose a refrences is important for studied history. If you want study history, you need many book for get true perspective about history. In this article, i will share a tricks to choose history book, before next, lets subscribe my blog first for other containt about Islamic History.

1.Look Blibiography.

Before you choose book, better, look blibiography, from where author get refrences for his book? If you find many citation from private blog, wikepidia, and youtube video, dont buy this? Why? Because blog and wikepidia can written by anyone, either the writter understand history or not, wikepidia and his branch websites can edited by anyone.

2. Search The Writter.

Important for your know before buy the book, who s the writter? Make sure you buy book that written by they who understand for history and credibel. Before buy the book of history, search writter identity, look at his education, i advise you, buy the book that written by bachelor of history, because bachelor of history has provetionatility at historiography and usually, before write the book, he do research first for collect valid data.

3. Buy Original Book.

If you shopping at online shop, make sure the book that you buy is original book, dont buy pirated book. Pirated book usually written at online shop as : repro book, KW, or dont list information. Avoid the book with information like this, why you must buy original book? Because if you buy pirated book, you also harm writter and publisher, pirated book dont pay royalty to writter and publisher. If you dont have money to buy book, you can go to library for borrow the book.

4. Learn Historiography From Book.

If you read many history books, you can learn about historiography. What is historiography? Historiography is how write the history? All history book reflect historiography from his writter. If you read book of Al-Bidayah Wa an-Nihayah  by Imam Ibn Kathir, you can get strong aroma of religion, because Imam Ibn Kathir is Muslim Scholar and also Mufassir ( Quran Interpreter), if you read book of Muqaddimah by Ibn Khaldun, you can get citically analytics about history because Ibn Khaldun is philosoph. Look from book that you read, how writter deliver his knowledge to reader?
