Islamic s Scholars Theory About Propeth Isa s End.

Source: Ngopi Maste.

Islamic Theory about end of life from Propeth Isa Alaihissalam  variated and the popular version  is Propeth Isa Alaihissalam appointed to sky when crucifixion and Yudas Iskariot is crucified. I doesn’t say: Where s true theory,  I only serve several argue from Islamic Scholars about End Of Life From Propeth Isa Alaihissalam. Please choose a theory that convice for friends. I only tell about several theories from Islamic Scholars.

First, we must know Quranic verse that tell about end of Propeth Isa Alaihissalam  s end:

and for boasting, “We killed the Messiah, Isa, son of Mary, the messenger of Allah.” But they neither killed nor crucified him—it was only made to appear so.1 Even those who argue for this ˹crucifixion˺ are in doubt. They have no knowledge whatsoever—only making assumptions. They certainly did not kill him ( QS.An-Nisa: 157)

First theory, and it is popular theory at Muslims, Propeth Isa doesn’t crucified and he replaced by his student, Yudas Iskariot, in other narration, Simeon, but Quranic verse or hadith doesn’t  tell about  Yudas Iskariot or Simeon, only word: Syubbiha Lahu.

Syubbiha Lahu ( It was only made to appear) interpreted by several scholar such as Ibn Kathir exist other person who replace Propeth Isa for crucifixion.

Second theory, the theory say, Propeth Isa Alaihissalam was crucified and he doesn’t die, only fainted, his body brough to cave, and in third day, he s wake and went to Galilea with his students. The theory s originator is Muhammad Ali, for Muhammad Ali, word Syubbiha Lahu in the Quran , interpreted Muhammad Ali Propeth Isa Alaihissalam doesn’t die, but his crucifers thought he was die.

This argument sincron with primary source, the notes from Historian Flavius Josephus in his book: Jewish Antiquities at 75-100 AD, that Propeth Isa Alaihissalam punished by Roman s officer, Pontius Pilatus, but Propeth Isa doesn’t die and in third day, Josephus write, The people see, Propeth Isa Alaihissalam  still alive.

Roman Historian, Cornelius Tacitus, in 117 AD, write in his notes, Annals, Propeth Isa Alaihissalam  punished by death vonist from Pontius Pilatus, but he doesn’t mention, Propeth Isa die s because the vonist or no.

The problem of how Propeth Isa take  by Allah to sky, such as Ali Imran : 55:
Remember˺ when Allah said, “O Isa! I will take you1 and raise you up to Myself. I will deliver you from those who disbelieve, and elevate your followers above the disbelievers until the Day of Judgment. Then to Me you will ˹all˺ return, and I will settle all your disputes. Islamic scholars different in their argue. Ibn Kathir argue that Propeth Isa Alaihissalam  raise up  to sky with his body and soul with sleep condition.  And Ibn Kathir believes Propeth Isa will go down to earth wis his body and soul.

Other Islamic Scholars like Muhammad Abduh, Muhammad Rashid Ridha, and Buya Hamka argue Propeth Isa was die and the mean of raise up is Allah raise up Propeth Isa  s position as high.

Muhammad  Ali interpreted the hadith about Propeth Isa Alaihissalam  go down to earth that people who has personality like Propeth Isa, differents with Ibn Kathir who argue Propeth Isa Alaihissalam will go down to earth.

In Quran interpreted, Muhammad Ali put logic   for interpreted several religion texts and this method call as Tafsir Birayi and Ibn Kathir put hadith ( Tafsir Bil Matsur). Should, we as Muslims put understanding that sincron with Quran and hadith.
